3-Vehicle Crash Damages Utility Pole and Closes Intersection in St. Petersburg

St. Petersburg, FL (1/30/2020) – An intersection was closed Thursday afternoon after a three-vehicle crash knocked down a utility pole in St. Petersburg. The accident occurred at the intersection of 1st Avenue South and 49th Street.

The crash involved a Jeep, a St. Petersburg police car, and another vehicle. There are no reported injuries at this time. Police closed the intersection to clean up debris, but it has since been reopened.
