8-year-old Girl Seriously Injured in St. Petersburg Crash

St. Petersburg, FL (11/27/2018) – An 8-year-old girl sustained life-threatening injuries in a crash on Wednesday. The collision happened near 9th Avenue S and 16th Street S.

EMTs transported the girl to the hospital. Police reported that a van struck her in the median lane. 

The driver remained on the scene to cooperate with the police.

Alcohol is not a factor in the crash. Police are still investigating the cause.

Our hearts go out to all of those impacted by this tragedy. Pedestrian accidents like this one occur far too often in Florida.
