Bradenton Bicyclist Injured in Robbery

A Bradenton man was treated for injuries early Saturday morning, August 20th. According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, the bicyclist was “pushed to the ground and robbed.” The incident took place in the 5600 block of 12th Street East in Bradenton.
The victim, Felipe Aguilar, 33, was riding his bike to a friend’s house at around 1:00 a.m. Saturday when he was pushed off his bike and onto the ground. Two more men then turned him on his back and robbed him, stealing his wallet, money, and bike which they used to flee the scene.
Aguilar suffered lacerations on the back of his due to the fall. He was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
