Motorcyclist Dead after Collision with HART Bus

Tampa, FL (12/06/2019) – Tampa Police responded to a call on Friday night about a man crashing into a HART bus. The collision occurred at the intersection of South Dale Mabry Highway and West Euclid Avenue around 8 pm. 

According to the Tampa Police Department, the motorcyclist traveled south on South Dale Mabry Highway. The bus attempted to turn left into the westbound lanes of Euclid Avenue. The motorcyclist crashed into the rear corner of the bus and died on the scene.

Police reported that the motorcyclist traveled at a high rate of speed when he collided with the bus. Officials are not releasing the identity of the victim at this time.
