Plant City, FL (11/12/2019) – A man died Tuesday night after his motorcycle collided with an SUV. The crash happened on U.S. 92 near Gordon Road around 10 pm.
Traffic ahead of the motorcycle slowed, and Guy Oldenburg, 55, failed to match speed with the vehicles in front of him. He crashed into the rear end of a 2009 Chevrolet Traverse.
Oldenburg died at the scene. EMTs transported the passengers in the Traverse, Olga Ruballos, 48, and Cesar O. Ruballos-Lucero, 47, to the hospital where they received treatment for minor injuries.
Oldenburg wore a helmet, and police reported that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
