Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Dale Mabry Highway

Hillsborough County, FL (11/05/2019) – A motorcyclist was killed Monday on Dale Mabry Highway when another vehicle pulled into his path. The collision happened near West Kirby Street around 3 pm. 

Eric Frisco Diaz, 31, drove south on the highway. A Toyota Rav4, driven by Caridad Lopez, 71, turned left out of the driveway of 7815 Dale Mabry Highway. Diaz collided with the Rav4. 

Diaz died at the scene. The driver and passenger of the Rav4 sustained minor injuries. Charges are currently pending.

Our hearts go out to all of those impacted by this tragedy. Motorcycle accidents like this one occur far too often in Florida.
