Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run on U.S. 41

Hillsborough County, FL (12/01/2019) – Chanda Renee Gant, 40, died Sunday when a car hit her and fled the scene. The collision happened on U.S. 41 just south of East 120th Avenue.
Gant walked west across U.S. 41 when a suspected 2003-2009 White Chevrolet Trailblazer struck her. The driver fled the scene.
Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital, where she died of her injuries.
