Police Investigating a Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash in New Port Richey

New Port Richey, FL (1/12/2020) – A fatal hit-and-run crash occurred Saturday morning at the intersection of Little Road and Heritage Lakes Boulevard. The crash happened around 1:00 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Little Road.

Florida Highway Patrol says the suspect, believed to be driving a 2001 to 2004 white or gray Toyota Tacoma, hit a pedestrian. The driver did not stop and immediately left the scene, continuing north on Little Road.

The Florida Highway Patrol shut down the northbound lanes of Little Road while they investigated the crash. The road eventually reopened at about 6:45 a.m.
