Woman Dead after Coastal Boulevard Crash

Hernando County, FL (11/27/2019) – A New Port Richey woman died after sustaining severe injuries in a crash. The crash happened on northbound Coastal Boulevard around 11:30 am.
Cynthia Lynne Busch, 66, drove a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer north on Coastal Boulevard. For unknown reasons, Ms. Busch crossed the center median and struck a 2010 Dodge Ram.
EMTs transported Ms. Busch to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. She later died of her injuries at the hospital. The driver of the Ram suffered no injuries.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
