Woman Dies After Losing Control of Her Vehicle

Seminole, FL (10/07/2019) – Shawn Michelle Bodden, 37, died in a crash late Tuesday night.
Florida Highway Patrol says that she lost control of her SUV around 12:15 am Tuesday night. The crash happened at the intersection of 102nd Avenue N and 97th Street N.
Ms. Bodden died at the scene. EMTs transported her passenger, Rene Joseph Bergeron, to the hospital with serious injuries. Police do not know if alcohol was involved in the crash but test results are pending.
Police say that Ms. Bodden was driving a 2006 Chevrolet HHR when she lost control. The vehicle began to spin, left the road, and collided with a concrete wall.
