Motorcyclist Hit and Killed in Pasco County by Turning Truck

Pasco County, FL (6/16/2020) – One motorcyclist from St. Petersburg was killed Monday morning after a tractor-trailer turned left in front of him. The crash occurred around 9:00 a.m. on County Line Road near Teebs Boulevard.

The Florida Highway Patrol states that an unidentified 22-year-old man was driving west on County Line Road in the tractor-trailer when he attempted to turn left onto Teebs Boulevard. The truck driver entered the path of a 24-year-old motorcyclist heading east on County Line Road, causing the two to collide. The motorcyclist was ejected from his vehicle and died at the scene of the accident.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash. So far, no charges have been filed against the driver of the tractor-trailer.
