A 34-year old woman was killed at a Brandon intersection recently when a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck. The incident occurred at approximately 5:30 pm on May 24, 2012.

Romildo Sanches was traveling west on Valley Drive in his 2007 Chevrolet pickup and attempting to turn onto Parsons Avenue when the accident occurred.

After crossing the two northbound lanes on Parsons Avenue successfully, Sanches was unable to make it onto the southbound lane of traffic and had shifted his vehicle into reverse to get back onto Valley Drive. Joseph and Pamela Bronson were traveling north on Parsons Avenue riding a 1999 Suzuki motorcycle when they collided with Sanches’s pickup, throwing both passengers from their vehicle.

34-year old Pamela Bronson was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. 33-year old Joseph Bronson was transported to the Tampa General Hospital for injuries but is in stable condition. Sanches, 51, was not injured in the Tampa motorcycle accident, and no criminal charges have been filed. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
