Clearwater, FL (4/26/2020) – Four people sustained serious injuries after a rollover crash on Sunday afternoon. The accident happened around 3:00 p.m. on Court Street just east of Lincoln Avenue.

According to the Clearwater Police Department, a Honda Civic was traveling west on Court Street when it collided with a Mazda SUV making a U-turn while driving east on the same road. One of the two vehicles flipped over and landed on the sidewalk. Two people from each car had to be extricated by Clearwater Fire and Rescue. All four victims were rushed to Bayfront Health in St. Petersburg with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating the crash and suspect speeding to be a factor in the accident. Investigators temporarily closed both directions of Court Street to investigate the crash and clean up the wreckage.
